2008 is an election year for the Executive Board Positions: President, VP of Operations, VP of Facilities, Treasurer, and Secretary. Currently I am looking for a Nomination Committee consisting of 3 non-partisan volunteers. If you are interested please ask for me at Concessions. This is my last season. After 12 years I am ready to pass the torch to someone that will be committed and have the same desire that I've had. When parents ask me which daughter is mine I tell them all 300, they say why are you still here? I make sure I tell them, "It's all about the girls." What I and a few parents started in 1996, has grown into a very good feeder system for local High Schools and I want that to continue. The next board will need to make this league bigger and better. So if you have the compassion and the committment to Christina Girls Softball, by all means get nominated. Elections will be held on May 3 during closing ceremonies. For more info visit our by laws.
